The PETA Cruelty-Free and Vegan label recognizes companies and brands that have verified that they and their suppliers do not carry out, order, pay for, or authorize any animal testing for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products all over the world and they will never do it.
In addition, the whole range of products must be free of ingredients of animal origin. These companies are truly cruelty-free.
It's completely free to be certified, and once approved, companies can choose to use PETA's global "Animal Test-Free and Vegan" logo. To use one of our logos, companies only pay a single fee.
PETA was founded in 1980 and is dedicated to establishing and defending the rights of all animals.
PETA operates on the simple principle that animals do not belong to us to experiment, eat, carry, use for entertainment purposes or abuse in any other way.
PETA informs policy makers and the public about animal abuse and promotes the caring treatment of animals.
PETA is an international, nonprofit charitable organization based in Norfolk, Virginia, with entities around the world.
PETA believes that animals have rights and deserve their best interests to be taken into consideration, whether or not they are useful to humans.
